Addressing the meeting, General Cuong thanked leaders of relevant ministries, agencies, Vietnam Journalists’ Association, press agencies and reporters for disseminating effectively military and defense missions, army building and socialism protection to contribute to building a revolutionary, regular, elite and increasingly modern army as well as for creating favorable conditions for military press agencies to fulfill their assigned tasks.

General Cuong hoped that in the coming time, central and local press management agencies and press units would further cooperate with the Ministry of National Defense and the GDP to strictly follow developing situations and exchange and disseminate reliable information on defense, military and defense external relations, army building, training and combat readiness, natural disaster mitigation, search and rescue, and activities to help locals build new-style rural areas to help develop the socio-economy.
