Free health check-ups to needy people in HCM City
PANO - Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defense on April 20 provided free health check-ups and medicines for needy people in Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City.
The program was a practical activity in response to the “Vietnamese youth remembering Uncle Ho's testament” movement, marking the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2019) and the movement of “Young physicians following Uncle Ho's teachings” in 2019 of the city.
Accordingly, the military doctors provided free health check-ups, medical counseling and medicines and presented gifts to 500 local people, needy children, and policy families.
In addition to the general examination, the military doctors also provided some ultrasound and electrocardiographic practices for patients, and instructed them how to prevent diseases during hot season.
