Free health check-ups for poor people
PANO - A delegation of doctors and nurses from Military Hospital 103, under the Military Medical University, provided free health check-ups, medicines and health counseling and presented gifts to needy people in the four communes of Huong Nhuong, Chi Dao, Chi Thien, Phuc Tuy of Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province.
This was an activity of Military Hospital 103 in coordination with the organizing panel of the Cycling Tournament “Back to Dien Bien Phu – People's Army Newspaper Cup,” showing the tradition and gratitude spirit of the Vietnamese people prior to the 72nd Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27).

During the medical examination, more than 200 people received medical counseling, general medical practice with the use of electrocardiogram and ultrasound machinery.
This is a regular social program conducted by the hospital to improve community's health, thus contributing to upholding the fine tradition “When drinking water, remember its source,” and strengthening the military-civilian ties.
* The same day, Military Hospital 103 also inaugurated and handed over a gratitude house funded by the hospital to wounded soldier Bui Van Khuynh in Be Ngoai village, Chi Dao commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province.
