Free health check-ups for needy people
PANO - Military Hospital 103, in association with the People's Army Newspaper (PAN), on December 8 provided free health check-ups and medicines to local people and presented gifted to 400 policy beneficiaries in Viet Hoa commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province.
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senior Colonel Vu Nhat Dinh, Deputy Director of the Military Hospital 103 said that the activity aimed to celebrate the 74th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Political Department (December 22), and the 29th Whole People’s Defense Festive Day (December 22).
Accordingly, the hospital's doctors provided health check-ups and counseling on cardiovascular and cardiac diseases for local people and 400 policy beneficiaries.
On the occasion, the PAN, as well as the Military Hospital 103, and the National Burn Hospital of the Vietnam Military Medical University, also presented more than 400 gifts including a pack of vitamines and VND 200,000 in cash each to policy beneficiaries. The gifts were totally valued at VND 100 million.
