The command’s leader hands over 2,500 gifts to localities to support needy workers.

According to Senior Colonel Vu Van Dien, Commanding Officer of the command, apart from the aforementioned gifts, 500 moon cakes will be given to young recipients as well to partly ease their difficulties and help them enjoy a happy Mid-autumn Festival.

The program has contributed to brightening the image, and bringing into play noble virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.

After the launch, troops of the military command maneuvered to localities to hand gifts to needy workers and their children.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak in the province, the command has mobilized thousands of troops and militia and self-defense force to control the pandemic, guard at checkpoints, work at field hospitals, assist locals in harvesting crops, and transport goods to pandemic-hit people.
