Distressed fisherman saved at Truong Sa townlet medical center
PANO – On April 12, the medical staff at Truong Sa townlet medical center in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province successfully saved 49-year old fisherman Ton Van Khuong.
Earlier, at 11:30 on August 11, the fisherman from trawler KH 99168 TS had an accident while grinding ice on board. He was taken to Truong Sa town medical center for treatment.

Reportedly, the patient had his left hand wounded. The medical team at Truong Sa townlet medical center gave the patient a tetanus vaccine, cleaned the wound, performed bone repositioning, tendon anastomosis, hemostasis and drainage for the patient. Currently, his health is stable.
Fisherman Ton Van Khuong was a crew-member of trawler KH 99168 TS, captained by 45-year old Le Van Minh. The trawler was fishing tuna with 15 crew-members onboard.
