Defense ministry meets with national contributors from Tien Giang province

In the national resistance wars against foreign invaders and Fatherland protection war, Tien Giang provincial armed forces and people, under the leadership of the Party, stayed united, promoted patriotic traditions, joined other troops and people in the whole country to fight for the national reunification.

Over the past years, the provincial Party committee, authorities, troops and people have overcome difficulties, exerted all-out efforts, and achieved important outcomes. Attentively, the province has well carried out policies for national contributors.

Addressing the meeting, Maj. Gen. Doan Quang Hoa wished Tien Giang provincial national contributors good health and congratulated the provincial Party committee, authorities, troops and people on their outstanding achievements in the past.

He also informed the guest upon the military’s attainments in actualizing policies for troops and their families and carrying out gratitude movements.

According to the general, party committees and chains-of-command at all levels in the military have paid due attention to leading and directing the mobilization of resources to take care of national contributors. The military has pro-actively made proposals and realized policies for those who engaged in the national revolutionary cause, Fatherland protection war, and serving international duties, and actively dealt with post-war policy backlogs.
