Defense delegation presents gifts to flood-hit people in central localities
PANO - A mission of the General Staff, led by its Deputy Director of the Department of Politics Colonel Hoang Van Tiep, on January 7, offered flowers and incenses to commemorate fallen soldiers at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel relic site, and granted gifts to flood-hit victims in the provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri.
The mission’s members committed themselves to studying, training, fighting, following the heroic spirit of fallen soldiers, and upholding a high sense of responsibility, unity, and creativity to build a stronger military.

The same day, the delegation also inquired after and gave gifts to 260 families who are dealing the serious effects of the recent flooding in 8 communes of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces, worth over VND 600 million.
In addition, the delegation visited and presented gifts to families of troops who died in a search and rescue mission in Quang Tri province.
