Due to dry weather conditions, strong winds, and thick dry undergrowth, the fire spread rapidly and fiercely. Upon receiving the report from local authorities, the Dam Ha District Military Command (under the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command) deployed dozens of officers and soldiers. They were joined by local maritime militia, police forces, forestry rangers, and various firefighting vehicles and equipment.

The Dam Ha District armed forces and other units persist in fighting the forest fire through the night.

The rugged island terrain, steep slopes, and dense dry vegetation posed significant challenges for firefighting forces. As night fell, visibility and access to the fire became even more difficult. Despite the hazardous conditions, the forces pressed on with the mission, demonstrating their determination to protect people’s lives and property.

Adhering to the principle of ensuring safety for the people, officers and soldiers worked tirelessly alongside other forces, devising ways to approach the blaze and gradually isolate and contain it.
