Commando Corps builds house for needy household
PANO - The Commando Corps on the morning of February 20 started the construction of a great-unity house for a poor household in Dak Lak province. Major General Do Thanh Binh, commander of the corps, attended the ground-breaking ceremony.
The house is for the needy couple of Bui Van Vuong and Pham Thi Thang in Village 3, Hoa Thang commune, Buon Ma Thuot city of Dak Lak province.

The house covers an area of 60m2 and costs VND 80 million, of which VND 30 million was contributed by the Commando Corps and VND 10 million donated by Hoa Thang commune’s Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter. The remainder was from the family.
Besides the financial support, troops of Commando Brigade 198 also participate in the construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Binh revealed that in 2019, the corps will build four great-unity houses for needy households in Dak Lak province.
Since 2010, the Commando Corps and Commando Brigade 198 have provided financial support for 19 policy and needy households in the Central Highlands to build their houses.
