Coast Guard Region 3 awards winners of “I love my national sea and islands” program
PANO - The Coast Guard Region 3 Command, on October 28, held a program to disseminate information about drug prevention and control to more than 300 teachers and students from eight secondary schools, and awarded winners of the “I love my national sea and islands” program in Dat Do district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
On the occasion, participants were equipped with information about drugs, how to identify different types of drugs, common symptoms of drug addicts; dangers of drugs, harmful effects of drugs on human health, and measures to prevent drugs for students, among others.

On the same day, the unit also concluded the “I love my national sea and islands” contest in the area and awarded three schools and 20 outstanding students.
The unit also took the occasion to offer 50 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, and 10 bicycles to needy students with good academic records.
