Lieutenant Cao Duc Anh was really moved, as local people always bear in mind the sentiments and assistance of border troops. He held that before the COVID-19 pandemic, annually, at the end of the year, the parish often held a spring program themed “Festival in the countryside,” launched by the Emmanuel charity group. The border troops also joined hands to organize the event by distributing tickets, ensuring security and social order, and instructing people to attend the year-end party in a cozy and joyful atmosphere.

Cu Lai Parish has 105 households and 550 parishioners. However, many people joined the festival, such as Catholics, other religious people, and border troops. They took the occasion to share their stories and plans for the coming year.
