Border station presents gifts to Khmer people
PANO – Vinh Chau Border Station under the Soc Trang provincial Border Guard Command, on July 19, worked with the Women Union organization of Group 6, Ward 1, Vinh Chau town, to hand over gifts to needy Khmer families affected by COVID-19 at the sea boundary area.

Previously, Vinh Chau Border Station called on sponsors to donate 1.5 tons of rice to 150 disadvantaged Khmer households in Ward 1, Vinh Chau town.
Also, the station offered 300 kilograms of rice and other necessities to Giong Du pagoda, Ward 1, Vinh Chau town, in support of poor families whose members are at quarantine sites.
These meaningful activities aim to assist the community amid the complicated developments of the pandemic, contributing to easing the difficulties of needy families in the sea boundary areas.
Moreover, the station promoted information dissemination among local people about COVID-19 prevention and control, asking them to strictly observe Directive No.16 of the Prime Minister.
