Border post assists Lao Cai people in overcoming consequences of landslides

On June 27, Major Nguyen Dinh Quang, the unit’s political commissar, said that 20 troops of the unit have been mobilized to cooperate with other local organizations, to assist the victims.

Over the past days, there have been continuing heavy rains in Lao Cai city, causing flooding and landslides in the area, badly affecting properties and farm production of some households in Dong Tuyen commune. It is initially estimated that the damages amount to nearly VND 300 million.
