Border guards save distressed tourist in Cu Lao Cham waters
PANO – A distressed tourist has just been rescued in the waters of Cu Lao Cham, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, announced Lt. Col. Nguyen Van Van, Second-in-Command Officer of Cua Dai Border Station on December 21.
Previously, at about 5:00 a.m. on the same day, Ship QNa 03265 TS captained by Tran Duong found and rescued a woman named Huynh Chau Ngoc Ha.

The woman is a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City. She and the other two friends named Nhi and Khiem rented Kayaks and headed to the waters of Thanh Vinh in Son Tra district. When her friends’ Kayak suddenly flipped, Ha tried to reach and help, but her Kayak went adrift to the sea. She now has no information about her friends.
Currently, Cua Dai Border Station is providing healthcare for the distressed woman while other forces are asked to continue searching for the two missing tourists.
