This May, the inspection team of the E.C. is scheduled to conduct its fifth inspection. Vietnam hopes that the results will contribute to E.C.’s lifting of its “yellow card” warning against Vietnamese seafood. However, the removal of the “yellow card” warning is based on the outcomes of the fight against illegal, unreported, unregulated (IUU) fishing that the country has been carrying out.
