The 50sq.m house was built at a cost of VND 90 million in total, including VND 70 million from the fund of the Military Region 5 Command.

Local organizations and individuals also contributed over 20 working days to the construction.

On the occasion, the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command and local authorities also gifted some commodities to the recipient.

* The Thang Long One Member Limited Liability Company of the Dong Bac Group under the Defense Ministry granted houses to its two disadvantaged employees in Hoanh Bo district, Quang Ninh province.

The company had invested VND 70 million in building a house, and also offered some necessities to the families on the occasion. 

Since 2012, the company has spent over VND 1.6 billion in building 24 houses of gratitude or comradeship.

* The Technical Department of Military Region 3 has granted houses to families of non-commissioned Major Tran Xuan Sy and Captain Bui Van Doan from the department’s Depot K22, who had faced housing difficulties for a long time.

* The Naval Technical Institute of the Vietnam People’s Navy inaugurated and handed over a gratitude house to family of Ms. Vu Thi Chap, in Tien Minh commune, Yen Lang district, Hai Phong city.

Mrs. Chap is the wife of martyr Doan Van Ve who laid down his life in the Southern battlefield in 1968 for the national resistance war against US invaders.

After three months of construction, the 30sq.m house, which costs VND 135 million, including VND 70 million donated by the Navy and the remainder from the family and the Hai Phong branch of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), has been completed.
