PANO - The National Steering Committee 1237 (the national steering board for search and collection of war martyrs’ remains) held a teleconference on December 7th to review their work for the period 2013-2015. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, head of the committee, chaired the conference.

According to the report presented at the conference, 7,997 war martyrs' remains were collected after two years of implementing the higher levels' resolutions.
Addressing the conference, Mr. Dam highly valued the achievements of ministries, sectors and localities over the past time, and urged them to continue to make a big effort to check files and add information related to the war martyrs' search from now till 2020. In addition, he asked local governments to build sufficient maps and databases for the search and collection of martyrs' remains, contributing to fulfilling all the set targets in the time to come.
