At the meeting held by the Crime Investigation Department

The outcomes were highlighted at the Crime Investigation Department’s conference to review the force’s task performance last year and roll out its missions in 2020. The event was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

Reports delivered at the event also affirmed that the quality of investigation    improved significantly. Local-level crime investigation agencies took different measures to recover corrupted assets for the State and military.

Meanwhile, prisons and correction centers conducted education for offenders and managed their personnel to prevent violations of the laws and military discipline while ensuring absolute safety.

In the coming time, agencies under the Crime Investigation Department will coordinate more with relevant units, so as to raise the quality of the settlement of complaints and denunciations, and criminal investigation work.

A similar meeting was held the same day by the National Defense Academy. The conference reviewed that in 2019 the academy obtained achievements in education, training, scientific research, and regularity building. Particularly, the unit actively renewed training contents and programs with a focus on raising learners’ soft skills.

In 2020, the academy will promote supervision in training, and continue renewing teaching contents.
