The school paid due attention to installing advanced equipment in classrooms, and carried out research projects at the Defense Ministry, General Staff, province’s and city’s levels.
Attentively, the school’s cadets won the second prize at the English Olympiad for cadets from military academies and schools, and the third prize at the Defense Sports and Physical Training Festival in 2019.
Delegates discussed and worked out approaches to enhancing leadership over the school’s task performance in 2020.
* In 2019, the Border Guard Command of Ho Chi Minh City finished the yearly training plan with flying colors. The unit held patrols with the participation of thousands of troops. It also mobilized more than 1,300 troops and over 280 vehicles for rescue missions and dealt with over 210 law violation cases.
At the conference, the Command launched a “Determined to Win” emulation movement and awarded 38 groups and 256 individuals for their outstanding achievements in 2019.
* This year, the General Department of Defense Industry comprehensively carried out Party and political work and seriously implemented the Party’s resolutions, directives and plans. During the 2019 emulation movement, the sector completed all key projects while improving the quality of their defense products.
In 2020, the General Department of Defense Industry will further embrace higher levels’ resolutions, directives and instructions, set higher targets for its affiliated units to reach, improve political and ideological education and boost law dissemination.
* In 2019, the Party Committee of the Staff Department of Military Region 2 outstandingly fulfilled all assignments, well performed the military-defense missions and made much progress in Party organization building.
Next year, the Committee will concentrate its leadership on improving the quality of its training, combat readiness, and exercises. It will also follow closely local situational developments, especially before and during all-level Party congresses, and give timely recommendations to the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of the military region to solve emerging situations.
* This year, the Party Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command actively advised higher-level authorities on military-defense missions, strengthened the organization of Party organizations of its subordinate units, led units in conducting exercises and training courses under the set plans and ensuring a firm combat readiness posture.
Meanwhile, the provincial military command successfully ran a defensive area exercise and handed over sufficient enlistees.
In 2020, the Party Committee will continue bettering its staff work, lead units in building local strong armed forces, and successfully organize Party congresses.
* Regarding its missions for 2020, the Party Committee of the Political Department of Military Region 3 will continue directing its affiliates to renovate their methods of leadership, improve their advisory role, make precise forecasts of local situations, and encourage local people to contribute to local political stability.
Moreover, it will direct its subordinate units in conducting Party and political work, training, exercises, natural disaster prevention, search and rescue.
