With the message, “A drop of blood given, a life saved,” the event attracted the participation of around 400 troops from agencies and units of the division.

The division’s event, which was part of the blood donation program of the Central city’s steering committee for humanitarian blood donation, aimed to raise troops’ awareness that donating blood is a noble deed and a beautiful tradition of the Vietnamese people. It was also to beautify the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and air force troops in the people’s heart.

In the first drive, the organizing panel collected more than 360 units of blood which will be handed over to hospitals in Da Nang city to serve their patient treatment.
