The State President noted that the Central Highlands is a strategic area of the country, home to various ethnic minority communities. Most local people still live in difficulties and often suffer natural disasters. So troops of Army Corps 3 should promote close coordination with local authorities at all levels, promote mass mobilization, and effectively support local people in developing their business, production and improving their cultural and material lives, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s Soldiers.
The corps should promote the tradition of a heroic unit, unite to overcome difficulties and implement the assigned missions, restlessly improve the quality of training and combat readiness capabilities, and educate all officers and soldiers to be absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people, in order to firmly protect the Fatherland, national security, maintain political security and stability in the region while significantly contributing to local socio-economic development.
Regarding the unit’s future tasks, the State President asked the Party Committee and Command of Army Corps 3 to seriously study and implement resolutions and directions of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense; focus on building a clean and strong Party organization and a comprehensively strong military unit; as well as improve leadership for officers and fighting abilities for soldiers. He also suggested that the whole chain of command should take good care of troops, celebrate a happy, safe and economical Tet, pay visits to local policy beneficiaries, and strictly maintain watch and combat readiness.
On the occasion of the upcoming Tet, President Quang extended best wishes to all officers and the ranks of Army Corps 3.
