The request was made by General Do Ba Ty, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) at a meeting with Army Corps 3 on April 12.

The NA Deputy Chairman also praised achievements recorded by the corps as well as military and public security units stationed in the locality over the past years.

Accordingly, the units have well ensured political security and public order in the Central Highlands, effectively implemented combat readiness training and mass mobilization missions, as well as paid attention to raising troops’ material and spiritual life.

Earlier, the delegation visited and worked with the Ia O Border Post, the Border Post of Le Thanh International Border Gate under Gia Lai provincial Border Guard, Regiment 48 of Division 320 of Army Corps 3, and offered incense in commemoration of martyrs at the Corps’ Martyrs’ Monument.
