Over the past half century, the school has trained and fostered tens of thousands of political cadres and instructors in military social sciences and humanities. These trainees have served as the core force, together with political agencies at all levels, in carrying out Party and political work, contributing to building a politically strong military, enhancing the military’s synergy,  fighting and winning power.

Addressing the event, Gen. Giang congratulated the school on its outstanding attainments gained over the past five decades. He asked it to continue to promote its traditions, carry forward its glorious achievements and focus on thoroughly grasping the Resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress and of the 12th Military Party Congress.

The defense chief requested that in any circumstances, the school must steadfastly uphold its political orientation, serve as a model in Party spirit, enhance practicality, scientific rigor, combat, and develop comprehensive qualities and capabilities for trainees. In addition, it should be exemplary in loyalty and steadfastness; exemplary in thinking and political sensitivity; and exemplary in carrying out Party and political work.

Alongside making breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation, the school was urged to continue to build itself to become a leading research center in military social sciences and humanities, contributing to building politically-strong military in the new situation. Moreover, it should further promote its role as a core force and a pioneering “fortress” in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation and in combating and refuting wrongful and hostile viewpoints.
