Political Officer Candidate School delegation pays tribute to heroes
PANO - From March 28 to 31, a delegation from the Political Officer Candidate School, led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Hung Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Rector of the school, organized the "Return-to-the-Root" program to visit historical sites on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The program was attended by leaders and former leaders of the school, as well as its exemplary collectives and individuals. Paying gratitude to the previous generations who sacrificed their lives in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the delegation offered incense and flowers at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs’ Monument and the A1 War Cemetery.
During the program, the delegation visited historical sites such as Hill A1l, the De Castries bunker, and the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument. They listened to the introduction about the sound leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the command of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the arduous fighting, the heroic sacrifices of the previous generations, and the spirit of national unity that led to the victory in Dien Bien Phu.

The program was a meaningful activity that contributes to inspiring patriotism, national pride, and aspiration to contribute among the members of the Political Officer Candidate School. It encouraged every officer, instructor, cadets, staff and soldiers of the school to strive to promote the virtues of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the current context.
