PAN marks 70th traditional anniversary in HCM City
PANO – The People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) held a ceremony on October 10 in Ho Chi Minh City to mark the 70th anniversary of foundation day (October 20, 1950 – 2020).
The event gathered generations of former PAN reporters and staff who are working in the Southern region.

At the ceremony, PAN’s Editor-in-Chief Senior Colonel Doan Xuan Bo recalled the historical traditions of the newspaper. He stressed that the newspaper has fulfilled the missions assigned to it by the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, contributing significantly to the national liberation and defense cause.
Senior Colonel Doan Xuan Bo also expressed deep gratitude to generations of PAN reporters and staff in the Southern region, who have made great contributions to the development of the newspaper.
He urged the staff members, past and present, to continue promoting the traditions of the PAN to fulfill their tasks in any circumstances.
