Missions assigned to newly-appointed Political Chief of Border Guard Command
PANO – Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard Command on June 19 presented the decision on the appointment of the command's political chief to Major General Tran Van Bung.
Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan sent thanks to leaders of the Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Border Guard Command and troops for their support during his term.
Also, he expressed his hope that the department and its officers and soldiers will continue creating favorable conditions for the new leader to accomplish his assigned tasks in the time to come.
At the meeting, Major General Tran Van Bung highlighted outstanding contribution of General Tuan to the achievements of the Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, hoping that he will promote his good virtues to complete upcoming missions.
Gen. Bung affirmed that the department and the whole officers and soldiers will heighten their responsibilities, strengthen solidarity to improve leadership capability, and raise combat competence, contributing to building a typically healthy and strong Party Committee, a comprehensively strong, “exemplary and typical” unit.
