PANO - The Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company under the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation on March 11th held the ceremony to celebrate its 30th founding anniversary and receive the second-class Independence Order. Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, attended the event.

Over the past 30 years, the company has successfully fulfilled assigned tasks, especially in defence, security, and search and rescue missions, recording over 250,000 safe flight hours, significantly increasing the company’s capital. It has built up a professional and proficient staff, including experienced pilots, technicians and specialists, with 60 per cent of the pilots and technicians holding international certificates and degrees. The company has also exported aircraft and human resources for oil companies over the world.

The order conferred this time is seen as an encouragement for the company’s cadres, officers and workers to better fulfill their tasks in the coming time.
