During the inspection, the delegation listened to the report from the Chain-of-Command of the provincial Military Command on the results of combat readiness and local military-defense tasks in the first quarter of 2024. The inspection team directly reviewed documents related to plans for combat readiness shifting, protection of organs, Party and political work, and organization of forces, vehicles, and equipment according to various scenarios, as well as an exercise of the Mechanized Reconnaissance Company under the provincial Military Command.

The Hung Yen provincial Military Command has thoroughly observed and implemented the orders regarding combat readiness for the upcoming holidays and the anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory. The unit has strictly maintained its duties according to the instructions of the Chief of the General Staff. Documents for combat readiness have been fully developed, approved, and closely managed as per regulations. Additionally, the command has pro-actively coordinated with other forces to grasp the internal political situation in the locality, advising local Party committees and authorities to handle unforeseen situations promptly.

In his remarks at the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang highly appreciated the implementation of combat readiness and military-defense tasks in the first quarter of 2024 of the Hung Yen provincial Military Command. He also requested prompt solutions for the identified shortcomings.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff emphasized the need for the command to strictly implement higher-level directives regarding combat readiness and local military-defense tasks in 2024, organize patrols according to the set plan, and promptly advise local Party committees and authorities to maintain political security and social order in the locality.
