Regarding such big events as the Hung Kings Commemoration Day, the South Liberation and National Reunification Day, the International Labor Day, the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, both Engineering Brigade 25 and the Tien Giang provincial Military Command have seriously embraced higher levels’ directives, orders, plans, and instructions on military and defense missions, combat readiness, unit-building. They have well maintained combat readiness posture, exercised disaster prevention and control, search and rescue and fire prevention.

They have also regularly practiced combat scenarios and plans, closely worked with forces to keep a close watch on the development of local situations, ensure absolute safety of targets and political events, as well as put their personnel and vehicles in stand-by for any circumstances.

On hearing reports and checking the units, Gen. Anh applauded the two units’ achievements. He asked them to continue observing higher levels’ directives on combat readiness, well perform their duties, complete combat documents, add more supplies for combat readiness mission, and promote rehearsals of combat, search and rescue plans.

During the inspection

The deputy chief of the General Staff urged them to continue to observe military discipline, enhance education for troops about military discipline and national law, pay due attention to troops’ spiritual and material life and their families, uphold internal solidarity, and ensure adequate logistics supplies and technical services for all missions.
