PANO – The General Department of Technology on September 10th launched an emulation drive to mark the 40th traditional day of military technical industry and technical general department (September 10th, 1974) in the presence of its political commissar, Lieutenant General Ha Minh Tham.

The emulation drive aims to arouse and promote the traditions of the department to successfully fulfill assigned tasks and plans in 2013 and 2014, and build strong party organizations and comprehensively strong units, making contributions to building units with firm political stance, raising the quality of staff management, as well as effectively organizing activities to mark the big celebration.

Accordingly, the drive is divided into three phases and the general department will organise ceremonies at the end of each phase to review performances and award outstanding individuals and groups.

Addressing the celebration, General Tham instructed the department’s staff to promote counselling ability, ensure technical equipment, conduct more research, initiatives and innovations, as well as upgrade new weapons and technical equipment, meeting the demands of new missions in any circumstances.
