General Department of Politics’ leader hears young officers’ opinions

PANO – Lieutenant General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, on May 9th chaired a meeting with 150 young officers of Military Zone 9, at the military zone’s Division 330.
In an open atmosphere, young officers expressed their aspiration and determination to devote all their efforts to their units, the army and society.
The participants said that leaders and commanders at all levels should continue creating favourable conditions for young officers to show their talents and abilities, and commanding officers should have trust in young officers in fulfilling their newly-assigned tasks. On the other hand, young officers should promote studying and training to be able to fulfil the tasks better.
Some said that the army and units should pay more attention to dealing with troops’ housing difficulties and promoting carrying out policies for young officers and their relatives.
Speaking at the meeting, the general acknowledged young officers’ opinions and recommendations, hoping that they would completely trust in the Party’s leadership and the development of the country, promote studying in order to be ready to take and fulfil any assigned missions.
