GDP’s chief chairs conference on attracting talents to military

The event was attended by GDP’s Deputy Chiefs Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet and Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, and representatives of GDP’s affiliated units.

At the meeting, delegates commented on the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Decision No.899/QD-TTg issued on July 31, 2023 on approving the national strategy on attracting and honoring talents until 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Rolling out directives of the Defense Minister and the GDP’s leaders, over the past time, the GDP’s Department of Personnel has closely worked with relevant units to make recommendations to build a project themed “Attracting and honoring talents to the Vietnam People’s Army towards 2030, with a vision to 2050.” After reporting to the GDP’s leaders, the department will continue to adjust and finalize the project.

During the event, delegates discussed and proposed measures to implement the project.

Addressing the conference, General Cuong hailed the responsibility of functional units in the implementation of the project. Highlighting the importance of the project, Gen. Cuong requested functional organs and units to finalize contents related to the project and make recommendations during the project implementation.

On the same day, the delegates also worked together to review the investment and constructions of barracks in the GDP’s organs.
