GDP review task performance in September
PANO – The General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army held a monthly meeting on October 1 under the chair of its Director General Luong Cuong to review Party and political work in the whole military last month and map out key tasks for this month.
Reportedly, all defense agencies and military units have fulfilled their assigned missions with remarkable results. They conducted political and ideological education for troops, launched numerous activities in celebration of the 11th Military Party Congress, and implemented Party and political work when performing regular and unscheduled tasks such as search and rescue and COVID-19 prevention and control.
Speaking at the event, General Luong Cuong acknowledged the achievements of the GDP’s relevant units last month, and required them to continue enhancing political education, informing results of the 11th Military Party Congress, and providing timely advice for the Central Military Commission to direct the Party and political work of the whole-military in the time to come.
The GDP’s Director noted that the Party committees and chains of commands at all levels should provide accurate information for people, contributing to mobilizing people to fight against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces while directing their units to successfully implement the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels.
