GDP’s Deputy Director Senior Lieutenant General Do Can attended and delivered a speech at the event.

The course was organized to provide appropriate knowledge for 234 officers who are in charge of policy affairs in affiliated units and agencies of the defense ministry.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Do Can affirmed that the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense have paid much attention to issuing policies for the military, troops’ families and the national contributors. The GDP has provided timely advice for higher levels and directly given instructions to lead the whole-military to implement the policy affairs, he added.

The Party committees and chains of command at all levels have comprehensively implemented practical solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the work.

On behalf of the GDP’s leadership, General Can highly praised the achievements of the whole-military’s policy affair sector, especially in ensuring stable morale and good health for forces participating in the COVID-19 prevention and control.

Regarding the higher requirements of the policy affairs in the current context, General Can required the military’s policy affairs sector and its personnel to continue embracing higher levels’ instructions and resolutions, enhancing information dissemination to improve awareness and responsibility of relevant agencies, contributing to further improving the policy affairs.
