PANO – The General Department of Politics on February 27th held a conference in Ho Chi Minh City to review 2 years of implementing the Central Military Commission Standing Committee’s Instruction No.523 on promoting the leadership and instruction on policy work in the period of 2011-2015.
The conference, attended by Lieutenant General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, also deployed tasks on policy work in 2014 in the South.
Over the past 2 years, all army units have well carried out dissemination and comprehensively implemented the instruction, making considerable progress in policy work. The relevant organs of the Ministry of Defence, ministries and industries also provided recommendations to improve policies on troops as well as veterans of the resistance war for national salvation and those who had served international obligations.
Addressing the conference, General Minh said that all army units should promote the implementation of policies towards those who had devoted themselves to the cause for national independence and to the search for and the gathering of martyrs’ sets of remains.
