GDP holds conference to review task performance in March

GDP Chief General Luong Cuong chaired the conference. The event was also attended by GDP Deputy Chiefs Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet and Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh.

In March, the Party and political work was implemented as scheduled, in close connection with defense and military tasks, as well as military Party building work. The whole military also promoted political and law education and military discipline among new recruits so as to raise training quality, to name but a few.

On behalf of the GSP’s leaders, General Cuong acknowledged and hailed units in the whole military for their efforts in task performance last month.

Regarding missions in April, the GDP Chief requested units to further implement all assigned tasks as scheduled, promote the quality of political education, and carry out activities in celebration of big events, especially the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People's Army with good quality, among others.

He underscored the importance of the Party and political work, especially holding combat readiness and training tasks, and training for the parade at the ceremony in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the observance of military regulations, and organizing the 8th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange.

At the conference, General Cuong handed over certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals over the past time.
