Tet gifts presented to AO/dioxin victims in Gia Lai
PANO - The Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin (VAVA) held a ceremony on January 15 to hand over livelihood support and New Year (Tet) gifts to AO/dioxin victims in Gia Lai province.
In particular, VAVA Chairman Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Chinh presented livelihoods to five victims and Tet gifts to 30 victims. The total amount of the gifts was VND 86 million.

According to Lt. Gen. Nguyen Huu Chinh, in 2024, the VAVA mobilized VND 521 billion. On the occasion of the lunar New Year 2025, the association has visited provinces and cities to present livelihoods and gifts to AO/dioxin victims, with a total amount of more than VND 1.6 billion. These meaningful gifts aim to bring a warm Tet holiday to the victims and ease their pain, contributing to upholding the country’s tradition "When drinking water, remember its source."

The VAVA chairman extended Tet greetings to the families of AO/dioxin victims in Gia Lai province, wishing them to continue their efforts to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. He also thanked the local Party committee, authorities, and departments for their support to improve the living conditions of the victims.
