The sending of military officers and cadets to study abroad is important to provide high-quality human resources with high qualification, rich knowledge in advanced science and technology for the military and nation in the future. Having undergone overseas training and returned home, trainees well apply acquired knowledge to task performance. Many have become leaders of agencies and units and key cadres in mastering, maintaining, designing, manufacturing, upgrading, and modernizing weapons and equipment.
At the event, a representative of the GDP asked the trainees to keep firm political stance, be absolutely loyal to the Party’s revolutionary cause, and be proud of the nation and the heroic Vietnam People’s Army, considering it a motivation to strive in training.
He also requested them to strictly observe Vietnam’s military external affairs-related regulations, Vietnam and the host country’s laws, and the Ministry of National Defense’s regulations. Trainees who are Party members were urged to observe regulations on what Party members must not do, build solidarity and support each other in study and other activities, and promote international solidarity and friendship.

The trainees were also asked to promote self-reliance, take advantage of conditions and time, focus on study, gain more knowledge of military science and technology, and make regular reports on their study.
At the event, a representative of the trainees voiced their honor and pride to be sent abroad for study and promised to overcome difficulties, be pro-active in study and meet all the course’s targets, contributing to raising the country’s position and prestige among international friends.
