Individuals honored at the event

Besides the encouraging results achieved by the Vietnamese delegation at the Army Games 2019, General Giang pointed out several limitations in preparation work and coordination among relevant defense agencies, the General Department of Politics and military services or corps in charge of training Vietnamese personnel for the Army Games 2019. He noted that relevant defense agencies and military units should regularly update troops on technical features and functions of new weapons, equipment and vehicles. They should also train with up-to-date military knowledge and tactics for troops and improve troops’ command of foreign languages and communication skills in a multinational working environment.

At the ceremony, Deputy Chief of the Military Training Department announced decisions issued by the Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff to reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements at the Army Games 2019.
