The sector also made recommendations for the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and leadership of under-ministerial agencies to develop measures to raise the quality of training, combat readiness, and national sovereignty protection missions.

In the coming time, the Inspection Agency of the Ministry of National Defense will continue studying and carrying out higher levels’ resolutions on inspection while enhancing inspection of units and sectors in which corruption usually occurs.

Speaking at the conference, General Chiem praised achievements obtained by the military inspection sector last year. He asked the military inspection sector to promote their advisory role to help units’ leadership to deal with complaints and combat corruption. The force should pay attention to building a strong Party organization, consolidating solidarity among personnel, promoting training to raise staff’s political stance, professionalism, and working ethics.

On the occasion, the Deputy Defense Minister wished the military inspection sector to fulfil all assigned missions in the coming time.
