At the meeting, the General Staff reported that since 2020, it has always embraced resolutions and conclusions issued by the Party and the Central Military Commission, and given timely recommendations to the Ministry of National Defense’s leadership to direct military schools to complete their assignments.
The agency has also made proposals to direct the adjustment of training programs in line with the reality of each school, the pilot of a training program for commanding non-commissioned officers at military schools run by military regions and army corps, and the observance of COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

With its suggestions, military schools have adjusted their training plans, ensured safety for their cadets during studying and graduation examinations, improved foreign language training quality, and invited more units’ commanders to share practical experience.
The General Staff has also instructed schools to conduct enrollment in line with regulations, and directed the Department of Military School Management to work with units to apply digitization, as well as asked schools and training establishments to train international trainees as regulated.
In his speech, General Giang acknowledged the achievements gained by the General Staff and the Department of Military School Management on directing the management of military schools. He highlighted the innovation in education and training in the military.
He asked the General Staff to continue leading military schools to effectively perform their training activities, improve the professional expertise of instructors and education managers, and adjust training programs to meet the military’s task accomplishment. He noted the need to foster capable command and staff officers to raise the quality of exercises and military training in schools.
He also asked the two agencies to continue giving timely recommendations and directing the upgrading of lecture halls and training grounds, and preventing COVID-19 from spreading in military schools.
