Inspecting training work and combat readiness in Artillery Regiment 4 under Division 10, General Phan Van Giang spoke highly of the regiment’s great efforts in getting acquainted with new weapons and equipment, requiring the unit to master training equipment and conduct research to upgrade the equipment associated with troops’ training duties.
On hearing the report of the General Staff’s delegation and Army Corps 3 Command, General Giang acknowledged and praised the command for strictly embracing resolutions and directives of higher levels, comprehensively implementing and completing all duties with positive results.

Meanwhile, the minister asked the corps’ Party Committee and Command to focus on reviewing programs and plans set in 2022, supplementing new tasks in a timely manner, and strictly accomplishing assigned missions.
The corps should direct affiliated units to closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant forces to thoroughly grasp security and political situation, social order and safety in the locality, especially in border and ethnic minority areas while maintaining combat readiness posture and actively preparing adequate forces and vehicles for natural disaster prevention and search and rescue missions.

Also, Army Corps 3 should improve the quality of training, ensure absolute safety for personnel and weapons, observe military discipline and the State’s laws, as well as ensure safety and fire and explosion prevention, among others.
General Giang required the unit to implement tasks of building a strong party organization in a synchronous and effective manner, take good care of officers and soldiers’ spiritual and material life, especially needy troops and those living far from home. In addition, the unit should well conduct mass mobilization work and pay due attention to local poverty reduction, hunger elimination and new-style rural area-building work.
