Political chiefs of Army Corps 3’s affiliates join competition
PANO - Army Corps 3 launched a contest for deputy heads and heads of political divisions of its affiliated regiments and brigades in 2022 on October 3 in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province in the presence of its Deputy Political Commissar Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong.
The contest drew the participation of 29 contestants from the corps’ regiments and brigades, and Military Hospital 211.
During the three-day event, contestants have to show off their knowledge and skills related to party and political work. Together with writing topics, they will deal with situations, answer the jury’s questions, and give lectures.

The contest is to review the contestants’ qualities, professionalism, and competence in a comprehensive manner. The results of the review will help the permanent boards of the Party committees, chains-of-command of Army Corps 3 and its affiliates to develop plans to foster cadres in general and contingent of deputy chiefs and chiefs of political divisions of regiments and brigades in particular.
In his speech, Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong said that the contest is to actualize the Army Corps 3’s Party Committee’s policy “Making breakthroughs in improving quality of cadres” in 2022. He also highlighted the important role of the contestants in giving recommendations and instructions related to Party and political work, as well as inspecting and implementing it.
He urged the organizing panel to operate the contest seriously and closely, the jury to give points objectively, and accurately, the contestants to raise responsibility, boost exchange, acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, and observe military discipline and the organizers’ regulations.
