Although these veterans are retired from military service, they have still preserved the fine traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and actively cooperated with troops in service to organize various gratitude activities.

Addressing the meeting, General Lich expressed his pleasure at welcoming the veterans to visit Hanoi, and applauded the liaison board for its achievements and their active involvement in local social activities.

The defense minister briefed the delegates on the military’s outstanding achievements, including the successful organization of the 11th Military Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, and the orientations for the military-defense task performance in the future.

General Lich expected the veterans to do more meaningful activities in the time ahead, and hoped they continue to promote the fine traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, as well as setting good examples for younger generations to follow.

He also asked all troops of Division 341 to continue to promote their glorious traditions and make their best efforts to gain more achievements in the current context.
