At the event, Gen. Giang and his entourage heard a report on the outcomes of the unit’s task implementation in 2024, particularly in training, combat readiness observance, and force-building work.

On inspecting the unit and hearing the report, General Giang highly appreciated the troops’ sense of responsibility and determination in performing the unit’s political tasks and excellently completing all assignments, contributing to upholding political security, social order and safety in the stationed locality.

The defense chief asked the unit to well observe its combat readiness duty, take care of troops’ spiritual and material life during the traditional Tet holiday to ensure that they will have a joyful, warm Tet.

He also noted that they should promote solidarity and internal bond since it is the key for them to fulfill their missions in the new year.

On the occasion of the lunar New Year, Gen. Giang wished all troops of the regiment and their families good health, happiness, and promotion of the heroic traditions. He noted that they should heighten vigilance, ensure combat readiness duty, master provided equipment and weapons, complete assigned tasks and team up with local forces to protect the city named after beloved Uncle Ho.
