Having checked the field and observed troops conducting their training duties, Gen. Giang hailed the school’s achievements and stressed that the exercise clearly demonstrated the motto "The school’s quality of training is the unit’s combat readiness capability."

The defense minister highlighted the exercise since it helped the school’s cadres, instructors and cadets review their acquired knowledge in reality, apply what they have learnt to training, contributing to renovating and improving the quality of training, meeting the requirements of the task of building the military in the new situation.

He asked the steering committees of exercises of the Ministry of National Defense and the school to study and develop exercises with close attachment to reality, clarify issues related to our troops and the enemy, ensuring the unit’s completion of combat missions and entire victory. He also asked for flexible application of theoretical, techno-tactical principles close to actual situation in the theater and combat targets, especially in the context that the enemy uses hi-tech weapons.
