At the event, delegates discussed and voiced their opinions on several contents, including the report on military and defense affairs in the first six months and directions for the second half of this year; the CMC’s draft conclusion on the results of leadership in performing military and defense tasks and Party building in the military during the first half, as well as key tasks for the second half; and the plan on the organization of the 14th CMC conference and the mid-year whole-military politico-military conference, among others.

Concluding the conference, Gen. Giang agreed with the preparation of the General Staff and the General Department of Political Affairs on the draft reports and conclusions, requiring the two agencies to collect the delegates' feedback from the meeting, direct functional agencies to continue to adjust, supplement, and finalize the draft documents for approval during the 14th CMC conference.

Meanwhile, the defense minister supported the proposals of functional agencies on the organization of the CMC conference and the mid-year whole military politico-military conference. He required the Chief of the General Staff to direct relevant agencies and units to make thorough preparations for the mid-year whole-military politico-military conference, prioritizing quality and absolute safety in all aspects.

He also agreed with the report on the results of emulation and commendation in the first six months and the orientations and tasks for the second half of 2025.

Additionally, Gen. Giang provided conclusions, opinions, and orientations on several topics for the 14th CMC conference, primarily addressing issues related to the results of military and defense work in the first half of this year, the implementation of Mission A80, and other important matters.
