Defense leader works with Hanoi Capital Command

The request was made by Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, at the working session with the Hanoi Capital Command on July 28.

Gen. Anh also urged the Hanoi Capital Command to ensure adequate logistics supplies and technical services to meet task requirements; raise the quality of exercises of units and localities; well carry out the selection of youths to join the military and military enrollment; focus on building healthy and strong Party organizations and comprehensively strong and exemplary units.

According to Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Duyet, over the past time, the command has advised local party committees and authorities to effectively carry out local military and defense missions, contributing to building strong defensive areas; raising the awareness of cadres, Party members, and people in the capital city of military and defense mission and Fatherland protection; consolidating the people’s heart posture. 

At the working session

Earlier, the deputy chief of the General Staff visited Division 301, a regular unit of the Hanoi Capital Command, during which Gen. Anh praised the unit for its achievements over the past time. Particularly, the division has strictly maintained combat readiness; conducted training as planned; safely guarded agencies, units, and targets; fostered production to enhance troops’ living standards; ensure weapons, vehicles for missions.
