The contest is one of the important activities of the Hanoi Capital Command in promoting and implementing the campaign "Managing and using weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely and economically, and ensuring traffic safety" (Campaign 50).

The contest aims to enhance the awareness of officers and soldiers while accurately assessing their abilities in operating, utilizing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and technical equipment. The ultimate goal is to achieve unity in implementing technical work to meet the training and combat readiness requirements of the Hanoi Capital Command.

Based on the contest results, the Hanoi Capital Command will select good vehicles, units and individuals with outstanding achievements to participate in the whole-military level contest.

In his opening remarks at the contest, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Duyet affirmed that the technical sector of the Hanoi Capital Command has consistently ensured timely delivery of quality technical equipment for training and combat readiness tasks and exercises. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of focusing on the training and improvement of the professional skills of technical personnel to effectively fulfill assigned tasks.

Discipline must be maintained throughout the contest, ensuring absolute safety, he said.
